Across live events, broadcast, voiceover and ceremonies, the aim is always the same: to understand the story, connect with the audience and deliver it with warmth, authority and personality.

More than 20 years behind a microphone — and 15 years working with people at some of the most important moments of their lives — have taught me that good communication isn't about sounding impressive. It's about making people want to listen.
