Professional Profile

I work with live audiences. When I speak to a room, I help people listen — and stay listening.

My work sits at the intersection of live presence, storytelling, and broadcast-trained communication. Over more than two decades, I’ve worked in environments where attention matters — from radio studios and public ceremonies to corporate events, award settings, and recorded audio heard by large audiences. Across all of it, the constant has been the same: creating clarity, trust, and connection in real time.

I’m particularly interested in how rooms feel — how energy settles, how momentum is held, and how the right tone at the right moment can change an audience’s experience entirely.

How I Work

  • Bring calm authority to live settings, with the ability to adjust pace and energy as the moment requires.

  • Approach shaped by years of working without a safety net — in live broadcast, in ceremonies that cannot be repeated, and in front of audiences who can sense immediately whether someone belongs in the room.

  • Value preparation, but work responsively. Listen first, speak with intention, and understand when silence does more than words.

  • Presence can be measured and reflective, or more upbeat and energetic — particularly in hosted events, award settings, or high-tempo environments where momentum and confidence matter.

  • The key is not performance, but attunement.

Experience & Context

  • Live hosting and facilitation in public, private, and corporate settings

  • Broadcast and radio presentation in the UK and the Middle East, developing fluency with pace, timing, cues, and audience rhythm

  • Professional voiceover and audiobook narration, working from a broadcast-quality home studio on commercial, documentary, and long-form projects

  • Ceremonial work (weddings, funerals, life events), requiring trust, emotional intelligence, and the ability to hold complex rooms with care

  • Formal qualifications in celebrancy and recognized within that profession for influencing standards and practice. See this not as a separate identity, but as foundational training in presence, listening, and leadership in moments that matter.

Where I Add Value

  • Audiences need to feel oriented, not managed

  • Tone matters as much as content

  • Trust must be established quickly

  • Energy needs to be held — not forced

  • The host or facilitator represents the room, not themselves

  • This includes conferences, corporate events, award ceremonies, moderated conversations, hybrid or broadcast-style events, and other live settings where human connection is central to success.

Working Together

I work across the UK and internationally, and I’m comfortable collaborating with producers, agencies, and production teams who value preparation, discretion, and professionalism.

If you’re interested in work that prioritises presence, clarity, and genuine audience connection, I’m always open to thoughtful conversation.
